One of the blokes on an email list I’m on is named Ron Thompson. Great bloke in the US, but he comes and goes from the group at irregular intervals.

Cha’s home from work for a month on holidays, which is kinda weirding me out, having someone else here when I’m working.

But anyway …

We just had a knock on the door, and she went off to answer it. A conversation ensued, and she came back upstairs and said: “Dunno who it was, but he was looking for Ron Thompson”.

I just laughed and laughed, what with him posting to the group in the last day or so, it was just too weird.
