It’s not often that a local council does something useful, but the City of Stirling has done it.
They send out really useless rates statements, with no detail of costs or payments on it - they basically just want you to believe them. Not a lot of use if you want to keep records of what you’re paying.
So I emailed them, and less than 24 hours later I’ve got an excel spreadsheet with every transaction since the property was built, and I’ve balanced the account in Quicken. Good work.
